January 2023 Board Recognitions
At its regular January meeting, the Wheelersburg Board of Education recognized the achievements of the fall sports teams and athletes.

The Wheelersburg High School Girls Cross Country team, coached by Adam and Liz Conn, won SOC and District championships, the first district championship for girls cross country in school history.  


The cross country athletes recognized were:
Amanda Salmons - SOC 1st team, runner of the year - All District Honors
Ali Newman - 1st Team SOC
Kylie Marsh - 2nd Team SOC
Whitney Adams - 2nd Team SOC
Amaia Robson - 2nd Team SOC
Natalie Parker
Alayna Sissel
Gabby Munn

The Wheelersburg High School Golf Team, coached by Paul Boll were recognized for the following awards:
SOC II Coach of the Year, Paul Boll
SOC II Player of the Year, Eli Hall
State Tournament Qualifier - Brady Gill

Coach Boll was also recognized by the board for his induction into the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

The Wheelersburg High School Boys Soccer team, coached by Jon Estep, won SOC II and district championships.
Max Hagans was recognized for the following awards: SOC II and District player of the year, United Soccer Coaches All-Region (Great Lakes), 1st Team All-Ohio

The Wheelersburg High School Volleyball team, coached by Allen Perry, won SOC II and district championships.
Coach Perry was recognized for receiving the SOC II Co-coach of the year award
McKenna Walker was recognized for her 2nd Team All-Ohio selection.

Players from the Wheelersburg High School Football team, coached by Rob Woodward, were recognized for the following awards:
Connor Estep - 1st Team All-Ohio
Caleb Miller- 2nd Team All-Ohio
Landon Hutchinson - Honorable Mention All-Ohio
Eric Lattimore - Honorable Mention All-Ohio
