Dear Parents/Families,

The increase in COVID cases in our community has affected our ability to provide adequate supervision within the district.  In an effort to contribute to a solution to the rising number of COVID cases,  Wheelersburg Local Schools will implement remote learning for all students according to the following timeline: 

• Wheelersburg School District (Preschool through 12th grade) will operate on a remote learning schedule starting this Wednesday, December 9 through Friday, January 15. 

• There will be no school for students or staff due to Christmas break from December 19 through January 3. 

• During the remote learning period, students will need to log on daily to complete the daily check-in forms, follow Google Classroom lessons/activities/assignments, and participate in the live Google Meets or pre-recorded learning videos. 

• All students are encouraged to email or contact their teachers through Google Classroom for further information or clarification.

• Any student wishing to pick up meals can contact food services at 740-574-0462 to arrange for pick up. 

• During remote learning, families who experience Covid related cases (either positive or close contact) should communicate directly with the building secretary for reporting and contact tracing purposes.
