Sophomores – Sophomores who have applied to the Scioto County Career Technical Center will meet with Mrs. Ramey, SCCTC School Counselor, at 1:00 on Tuesday, April 6, in Mrs. Skiver’s room.
DD Faith Foundation Scholarship
Seniors – Applicants must be a senior in high school and plan to participate in post-secondary studies - including professional, vocational, and academic studies not limited to colleges and universities. An applicant should be an active member of a local church and should have an example of displaying faith during a difficult circumstance and explain that in a written essay. The application is available on the guidance website. The deadline is April 9.
Wheelersburg Excellence Scholarship
Seniors – To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must be a senior at Wheelersburg High school; show acceptance into a secondary educational program such as but not limited to a four year college or university, a two year college, community college, vocational program, adult education program, or business school; and have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. The application is available on the guidance website. The deadline is April 9.
Geoffrey Addleman Memorial Scholarship Fund
Seniors – This scholarship will be awarded to a Wheelersburg High School senior. Criteria includes 3.0 grade point average, financial need, and participation in extracurricular activities. The application is available on the guidance website. The deadline is April 16.

College Credit Plus 2021-2022 – Shawnee State University
Freshmen, sophomores and juniors – Shawnee State University’s College Credit Plus is available at https://www.shawnee.edu/areas-study/college-credit-plus. Once you apply, reply to this email and your transcript will be sent to Shawnee State University. This form is for Shawnee State University classes offered online, on campus or in the high school building. The application deadline is May 1.

College Credit Plus – Ohio University Southern
The 2021-2022 College Credit Plus online application is now live. You will notice there are two specific links, one for the Athens campus and one for the regional campuses (including OU Southern in Ironton).
Reply to this email after you complete the application and your transcript will be sent to the appropriate college campus. Deadlines are May 1 for summer session (session II only), June 1 for fall semester, and November 1 for spring semester.

Aurora Lodge Free and Accepted Masons Scholarship Application
Seniors - Aurora Lodge No. 48 will award four $500 scholarships to Shawnee State University. The application is available on the guidance website. The deadline is May 10.
Seniors – The PB&J Scholarship is for students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically. A high grade point average is not needed to apply. This scholarship is open to high school seniors attending an accredited two year or four year college in the United States. Visit bit.ly/pbjscholarship2021. The application deadline is May 31.
