Welcome to my web page! My name is Chris Skiver and I am the eighth grade American History teacher.  I'm excited to say this is the beginning of my 16th year here at Wheelersburg.  It was nice to come home to my Alma Mater. (Class of 1991)  I live in Wheelersburg with my wife Amanda, (Class of 1996) who teaches math at the high school.  We have three daughters, Mackenzie and Hannah in 12th grade and Sydney is a freshman.

The title of our class is American History, but we will study a wide range of social studies topics to see how our country relates to the rest of the world.  Our class will also discuss topics and ideas that will improve our knowledge of American citizenship.  Our goal as a class is to not just memorize historical facts, but to see how history impacts our present and our future.
