He willingly shares his knowledge and has become a trusted resource on complex issues such as state funding, compliance and cash flow management, “ said Julie Smith, Treasurer/CFO, Northwest Local, who nominated Grice for the award.
The award honors one member from each of the five OASBO regions for their significant contributions to the profession, their schools, and their communities.
Grice has served as the treasurer/CFO at Wheelersburg Local School District for thirty years. Prior to that, he also worked at Scioto County CTC and Northwest (Scioto) Local. George holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ohio University and an associate’s degree in Accounting from Shawnee State University.
