The Wheelersburg Local Schools will hold a Professional Development Day for staff members and Parent/Teacher Conferences as follows:
1) Wednesday, October 22, 2025 - There will be no school for preschool and kindergarten students. Preschool and kindergarten parent/teacher conferences will be by appointment throughout the day.
2) Thursday, October 23, 2025 – There will be no classes for students at Wheelersburg Elementary, Wheelersburg Middle and Wheelersburg High School. The staff will have professional development activities.
3) Thursday, October 23, 2025 – Transportation will be provided to students who attend classes at Portsmouth West Middle School, Minford Elementary, East Portsmouth Elementary, Portsmouth High School and SCCTC.
4) Thursday, October 23, 2025 - Conferences in grades PS-3 will be held from 2:30 - 5:00 & 5:30 - 8:30 pm (by appointment). Conferences for grades 4-12 will be from 2:00 - 5:00 & 5:30 - 8:00 pm.
The teachers will have a short dinner break from 5:00 - 5:30 pm.
5) Friday, October 24, 2025 – Transportation will be provided to students who attend classes at Portsmouth West Middle School, East Portsmouth Elementary, Portsmouth High School and SCCTC.
6) Friday, October 24, 2025, there will be no school in lieu of conferences for Wheelersburg Elementary, Wheelersburg Middle and Wheelersburg High School.
