Description
A substitute educational aide has responsibilities that support students and teachers and may include: 1) attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs; 2) support students with special needs by following their IEPs or 504 plans; 3) help teachers focus on explaining material and providing instructions; 4) help ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment.

Ohio Educational Aide Permit issued by the State Board of Education
