Hello! I am the 8th Grade Nonfiction Reading & Writing teacher at WMS, Mrs. Tori May. All throughout my life I have wanted to be a teacher. I made that dream a reality after I graduated with a bachelors degree in English/Humanities & a licensure to teach 7-12 grade English from Shawnee State University in 2021. I am now a proud Pirate teacher!  Some of my hobbies include reading (of course!), listening to leadership & crime podcasts, crafting, and photography. I am happily married and living life to the fullest with my awesome husband, Austin.

I am ecstatic to teach, love, and learn from each and every one of my students this school year! Go Burg!
