Policy JFCF: District's Hazing, Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying Policy

According to Board Policy JFCF, the district provides a semi-annual summary report pertaining to discipline events covered in this policy.

Latest Report Submitted to Board of Education:  June 28, 2021.  Due to the hybrid school schedule during the COVID pandemic this report is for the 2020-2021 school year.

Policy AC:  Nondiscrimination
The Board's policy of nondiscrimination extends to students, staff, job applicants, the general public and individuals with whom it does business and applies to race, color, national origin, ancestry, cintzenship status, religion, sex, economic status, age, disability or military status.
 
Policy IKEB: Acceleration 
Recognizing that all students learn and progress at different rates, the District believes that students should be challenged and supported to reach their full potential. The goals of the Acceleration Policy are to adjust the pace of instruction, provide an appropriate level of challenge and to reduce the time period necessary for students complete traditional schooling. The District employs four strategies to accomplish this policy. These include: Whole grade acceleration, Individual subject acceleration; Early admission to kindergarten, and Early high school graduation. Please read the entire policy, regulations, and forms.
 

Policy IGBEA: District's Reading Skills Assessments and Intervention (Third Grade Reading Guarantee)
The development of English Language Arts skills is important. The District evaluates students' reading skills and provides appropriate interventions and supports and a monitoring plan for students having a reading deficiency. Click to read the entire policy. As required, the District must have a staffing plan and review the staffing plan periodically.

Policy IGBM: Credit Flexibility

Credit Flexibility provides students the opportunity to earn credits based on individually approved credit flexibility plans. The intent of credit flexibility is to meet increased expectations for high school graduation.
