Hi! Welcome to my page!
My name is Sandy Belford. This is my seventh year teaching technology classes at Wheelersburg High School. I also teach College Credit Plus classes in the business field. I previously taught in the Washington Nile Local School District for six years and have been an adjunct instructor at Shawnee State University since 2004.
I am a graduate of South Webster High School. After completing a two-year Computer Science program at Ohio University Southern I attended Shawnee State University where I received an Associate and Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. I have an MBA from the University of Findlay and completed coursework required for a Ph.D. (ABD) in business from Capella University. I recently completed an Appalachian Literature class, part of the coursework for a Certificate in Applachian Studies.
In my spare time, when I have it, I enjoy reading, writing, sewing, and spending time with my grandkids. I also serve as the Vernon Township Fiscal Officer.
I am excited to meet my new students and look forward to the 2021-2022 school year.
My daily schedule includes teaching MIT (Web team & helping with Burg Sports Network), Computer Applications, Computer Programming, Yearbook Publishing, BUIS 1010-Computer Applications, BUMG 1010-Introduction to Business, BUFI 2400-Personal Finance, and BUAC 1010-Accounting Principles I. I am honored to serve as Student Council Adviser, Yearbook Adviser, and a member of the Scholarship Banquet Committee.
