Hello! My name is Kimberly Bentley and I am beginning my 31st year in education. How can that be?? About half of my career has been teaching Mathematics and the other half has been teaching Language Arts. I have found great joy in teaching both subjects! Truth be told, it's building relationships with students that I have enjoyed most of all. Welcome to my homepage! Let me share a few facts about myself.
I graduated from Lewis County High School in Vanceburg, Kentucky. In 1976, our nation was celebrating it's bicentennial, and I was celebrating my graduation from LCHS. GO LIONS! Yes, I'm a Kentucky girl. As a matter of fact, I still live in Kentucky. I attended Eastern Kentucky University, where I received my Bachelor's degree. GO EKU COLONELS! I later got my Masters degree from National-Louis University in Chicago, Illinois. Deep down, my blood runs blue. I'm a UK WILDCAT fan.
I have three adult children and four absolutely perfect grandsons. I am not biased, at all! My grandchildren's names are Joshua, Declan, Ronan, and Kendric.
I have a new job this year! I am thrilled to be a Title 1 teacher, providing Math Intervention to our middle school students. Please contact me if you have any questions about your child's progress. I look forward to a great 2021-2022 school year!
