Welcome to Mr. Eaton's webpage and Wheelersburg Middle School. In recent years, the staff and students of Wheelersburg Middle School collaborated to comprise a vision statement, along with a school focus under our positive behavior plan. The goal was to set an optimal desired future state of what our school wants to achieve over time, as well as on a daily basis. We believe these core ideals provide our students and staff with guidance and inspiration coupled with a primary focus.
Wheelersburg Middle School is dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence by offering learning opportunities that challenge and inspire all students to become confident leaders, innovative thinkers, and lifelong learners that excel to their fullest potential.

Background:
Hello! I am Mr. Eaton. This is my 11th year at WMS and my 24th year as an educator. I was fortunate to graduate from Wheelersburg High School in 1997. In 2001, I earned an Elementary Education Degree (Grades 1-8) from Mount Union College (Now Mount Union University). My Master's Degree is in Educational Administration from Ohio University.
My educational career began in Salem, Ohio at Southeast Elementary School where I taught sixth grade Math/Science. I also acted as the intramural director while at Southeast Elementary. From that point, I spent twelve years in Greenfield, Ohio. I taught sixth grade students in several content areas. Some of my other positions included coaching, weight room coordinator, teacher leader, and high school athletic director. While at WMS, I have taught technology for grades 4, 6, 7, and 8 and fulfilled duties as WMS Athletic Director/Assistant Principal and now WMS Principal. I feel blessed with the multitude of opportunities and wonderful people and students I have had the pleasure of interacting with in my career.
