Courses offered in the performing arts area give students the opportunity to demonstrate their musical talents and skills. Students may perform at athletic events, concerts, festivals, and competitions, depending upon the course taken.
The instrumental music classes include Wind Ensemble, Experimental Music, and AP Music Theory. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the Marching Band, which is currently an extracurricular activity.
The Choral Department offers three courses: General Chorus, Select Chorus (by audition only) and Introductory Keyboarding.
For those interested in the visual arts, there are several courses from which to chose. Fundamentals of Art I and II are offered to the beginner and intermediate art students. More serious art students may enroll in Studio Art III (Pre-requisites Art I and II), Portfolio Art IV (Pre-requisite Art I, II, and II), and Art History.
Finally, for those interested in computer arts, we have an excellent Media, Information, and Technology (MIT), whose soul duty is to uphold and maintain this beautiful website that you are reading this paragraph on. They also make weekly informational videos, which are posted to the main high school page.
For individual course descriptions, consult the Registration Guide.
