Welcome to my homepage!

My name is Andrew Heimbach and this will be my 20th year of teaching, and my 14th year at Wheelersburg. I teach Social Studies I for freshmen, college prep World History, and AP World History for juniors and seniors.

For students and parents that want to plan ahead, all of my students will need a 3-ring binder (1 1/2" to 2") as well as a pack of 5 tab dividers to organize assignments/notes from class.

I attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University and graduated from there in 2000. I received my master's degree in education from Marygrove College in 2005. Before being hired at Wheelersburg, I taught middle school and high school students in Ashville, Ohio at Teays Valley Schools from 2001-2008. I also serve as a varsity assistant coach on the baseball team in the spring. This year will definitely be different, but I am still looking forward to a great 2020-2021 school year!

-Marcus Garvey
